Acts under the direct supervision of the Teller Supervisor. This is a customer service oriented position for an upscale gaming facility. Tellers are expected to deliver great customer service and create a warm and friendly atmosphere for our guests. This position handles money and balances reports. Skill testing on math and money handling may be required. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. We are open weekends and holidays and if scheduled for one of these days they are mandatory work days.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months previous experience as a bank teller or 1 year as a retail cashier where responsibilities included balancing cash drawer and running/balancing shift reports
  • Excellent mathematical skills


 Knowledge of computers and computer program operation

 Job Description:                 

 Primary Responsibilities    

  • Provide an atmosphere where customers have a comfortable and pleasant experience and feel their questions can be answered and needs addressed
  • Scan and cash customer vouchers, ensuring accuracy of all monies collected and dispensed
  • Answer customer questions and create resolutions for non-scanning vouchers
  • Balance monies and run designated reports at the end of the shift
  • Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos as well as write correspondence and complete forms and reports
  • Must effectively present information in a one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
  • Must have the ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Must have the ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight and measurements, volume, and distance
  • Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions and ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variances
  • Must be able to work in low light, smoking environment
  • Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours
  • Must have the ability to hear and communicate effectively in a noisy environment
  • Ensure compliance with all rules, regulations and laws as well as with all Company policies and procedures
  • All other duties as assigned
